lyrics by Tony Fitzpatrick
Kevin, Daniel and Dana were in the prime of life, but that was soon to change on a Saturday night. Witnesses say they did not give way, they didn't stand a chance, in heaven now may they dance. why must you do it, are you too blind to see, the hurt and loss that's felt by us goes on, while you go free. What have you done, don't you even care, the lives that you take, families left in despair, the campaign must go on, until we get what's right, longer times for so called joy riders, where's the joy in loss of life. Why must you do it, are you to blind to see the hurt and loss that's felt by us goes on, while you go free.
how long must we struggle, how long must we fight, something must be done about this it's time to do what's right.
It was on the news last night, another lost his life, a mother mourns her boy, while another's kills for joy, what can we do that we haven't already done,It's only a mater of time before we lose another one.
Why must you do it, are you to blind to see the hurt and loss that's felt by us goes on, while you go free.
how long must we struggle, while you go free.
how long must we struggle, how long must we fight, something must be done about this,it's time to do what's right.
For these drivers of death, are getting of far to light, it's time to band together as one, we'll use our might.
For I hope and pray soon comes the day that your tunnel of darkness sees light.
